How the discount works
Show your Blue Light Card to your server when you arrive, or before the bill comes, and 20% comes off your food. There’s no app, no booking code, no minimum spend. It applies Sunday through Thursday, which tends to be when shift patterns actually allow for a proper sit-down meal rather than a rushed weekend slot everyone else is fighting over.
Who qualifies
Blue Light Card membership is open to a wide range of frontline and public service roles, including NHS staff at every level, police, fire and ambulance services, serving and veteran armed forces personnel, and social care workers. What to order
Mowgli food is built around sharing, which makes it well suited to a table of people with different appetites and different ideas about what they fancy. A good starting point: Yoghurt Chat Bombs and Fenugreek Kissed Fries, two or three curries through the middle of the table, a couple of street plates like Gunpowder Chicken or Mowgli Wings, and rice or rotis to mop everything up with. If there’s room left, the Gulab Jamun are worth ordering to finish with something sweet.

Can I use the Blue Light Card discount with other offers? The Blue Light Card discount can’t be combined with other promotions or set menus. If you’ve got another offer in mind, ask your server which gives you the better deal before you order.
Do I need to book in advance? Booking isn’t required, but it’s recommended, particularly for groups of six or more, so the kitchen can prepare properly. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Please note the 20% off food applies for tables of up to six guests.
Does the discount apply to drinks as well as food? The 20% applies across food, however drinks are excluded from the offer.
What if I don’t have my physical card with me? The Blue Light Card app works as well as the physical card. Either is accepted as proof of membership.
Is the discount available on bank holidays? Yes, as long as the bank holiday falls Sunday to Thursday. The usual Sunday-Thursday window applies, regardless of whether it’s a bank holiday.
How do I sign up for a Blue Light Card if I’m not a member yet? Eligible workers can apply directly at bluelightcard.co.uk. Membership typically requires proof of employment or service and is valid for two years.
