Our Business

01 Overview

At Mowgli we believe in creating a diverse workforce and the undoubted benefits that flow from diversity across the business.

At Mowgli we strive to create opportunities for all regardless of gender and to ensure that policies and ways of working do not unconsciously discriminate against any group. This has resulted in a management team from restaurant to board level that is diverse and open to all.

Our median gender pay gap of 1.3% and mean gender pay gap of 5.7% in favour of males, are a reflection of the high number of females in entry level front of house service roles within our restaurants which lowers the average pay rate. We are proud of the jobs we are able to create as a business and equally of our track record in progressing people from entry level to more senior roles.

We are not a bonus led culture and any bonuses paid are to senior restaurant team members for overachieving internal targets. Targets set are transparent and objective; criteria for earning the bonus is clearly defined.
