The Mowgli Story
A tale of a different kind of Indian restaurant in Birmingham
Since 2017, we’ve been on a mission to show Birmingham that real Indian food isn't about those heavy, red-dyed takeaways. In our own family kitchens, food is all about the zing of fresh ginger and the punch of green chillies, it’s light, vibrant, and built for sharing with the people you love. We’ve brought those family recipes to Grand Central to bridge the gap between ancient Tiffin traditions and the high-energy pulse of a busy city.
The Mowgli experience
What to expect
Walking into our Birmingham home feels a bit like finding a secret garden in the middle of a departures board. We’ve gone all out with the hanging ropes and swinging seats to let your inner child take over while the commuters scurry past outside. Grab a tiffin, hop on a swing, and just enjoy the view of the city on the move.
